What Is the AudioCodes RX-SWITCH?
The AudioCodes RX-SWITCH is a compact, easy-to-install solution that enables organizations using Microsoft Teams Rooms with the AudioCodes RXV200 Android Hub to support meetings hosted on any video conferencing platform. It’s a highly cost-effective way to deliver a seamless Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) experience utilizing the audio-visual peripherals already installed in your Microsoft Teams Room, ensuring flexibility and inclusivity for all your hybrid collaboration needs.
How Does the AudioCodes RX-SWITCH Work?
Getting started with the AudioCodes RX-Switch is simplicity itself:
Install
Install the AudioCodes RX-SWITCH in your Microsoft Teams Room and connect it to the RXV200, TV screen and audio and video devices.
Connect
Connect a laptop running the alternative video conferencing application (such as Zoom or Webex) to the AudioCodes RX-SWITCH with a single USB Type C cable. You don’t need an additional HDMI cable between the laptop and the TV screen.
Select
Select BYOM mode on the AudioCodes RX-PAD Meeting Room Controller. And if you want to share content from your laptop in a regular Teams meeting, you can simply select the content sharing mode on the RX-PAD without needing an extra cable.
Meet
The audio and video streams from the laptop will appear on the meeting room’s speakers and TV screen for a completely natural and immersive meeting experience.
